You can be busy and still eat healthfully!

Learn to plan ahead. The night before a very busy day, use your crock pot! Throw in a roast, chicken, dry beans, or just veggies. Put it in the refrigerator. Then plug it in (and turn it on) the next morning before you start your day.

What to put in the pot---

Roast and veggies are good, but just a roast works great because you can enjoy a salad with it if you prefer.

Chicken (boneless and skinless) with onion and bell peppers work well. Try adding sweet potatoes. Be creative, adding veggies you like. Broccoli is one of our favorites.

Perhaps you have a taste for beans? Tune in tomorrow for tips on what to do with dried beans!!
