It was part of a 2.3 billion dollar settlement against the world's largest drug company Pfizer. Pfizer pled guilty for misbranding the pain killer Bextra. What that means in our terms is they lied. For thier lie Pfizer is paying 1.3 billion dollars to the American government and 1 billion dollars to Medicare and Medicaid. What about all the people that were hurt and killed because of the dangerous drug? Very few will ever see anything, unfortunately. Question--- Why didn’t you hear about this? Look at who the major advertiser is on TV, radio, magazine, newspaper, and online? You guessed it-- Big Pharma! Remember, it is always all about the money.
