What Type of Water Are You Showering with?
I am sure you are aware that there is chlorine in your water. But are you aware of how dangerous this chlorine is? Chlorine is toxic. All you have to do is google "chlorine toxicity" and see what it says. When you shower, you absorb chlorine through your skin, and you breathe it in through your lungs. In one shower, your body will absorb ten times the amount of chlorine that you would ingest if you drank non-filtered water all day long. Chlorine is antagonistic to your thyroid function, and a low-functioning thyroid is one of the leading causes of breast cancer. The solution is two-fold. First, put a shower de-chlorinator on your shower head. Second, supplement with iodine, which most Americans are deficient in and which your thyroid also needs to function. This iodine will counterract any chlorine already in your body or any that you may inhale or absorb (for example when in or around a swimming pool). You can find a de-chlorinator at Home Depot, Lowe's, or at the link at the bottom of this post, and I supply a quality iodine supplement here at the office. Take this major step in purifying your body on your journey to wellness. I leave you with our verse of the day, Phillipians 4:8: "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report, if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
For additional information, go to http://druglessdoctor.com/tabid/2119/Default.aspx. This site also contains the best filter I have found so far. It will last 3-5 years as opposed to six months to a year like the filters that Home Depot and Lowe's offers.
